ABOUT GIULIA
From Lugano, Switzerland, always being immersed in the artistic world, passionate about performing arts, art history, photography to getting a Bachelor in Spatial designe at the Willem de Kooning Arts & Design Academy of Rotterdam (NL).
I worked for the architectural office Husos based in Madrid and learned furniture restoration from Mar at her El Atelier laboratory.
Followed specialization courses in Urbanism at Iuav University and Light Design at the Accademia di Belle Arti, Venezia. Gained work experience at the classical brand Fortuny, Venezia, in the furniture and decoration field at Porte Italia Interiors, at the architecture Biennale Venezia Terrea Acquae 2025 and the Dutch Design week Eindhoven.
I went to Japan to get to know the culture deeper and I visited ateliers and craftmanship. Also in Venezia I had the chance to build a network of artisans and artist.
I truly believe in local sourcing!
I am also passionate about stories of places and people, resilience, trees and writing (did a specialization course in Travel Journalism - STJ).
